911 '69-'83 Foglight Installation Instructions

 


INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  • Remove lens assembly from foglight fixture by removing 2 screws on the face.

  • Separate the reflector from the glass lens by bending up 2 tangs on either side of the fixture.

  • Now might be a good time to purchase new glass lenses if the current ones are sandblasted or cracked.

  • The bulb socket and shade must be removed to allow the PCB to sit inside the fixture.

  • A round jig is provided to ease the removal of the lamp socket and shade.

  • There are 3 bumps holding the bulb socket on the reflector.

  • Sitting the reflector on the jig on the work table, tap each bump one at a time until the socket pops off.

  • The installation of the LED board is simple; just drop it in the glass lens.

  • The picture show white PCB but all boards are now BLACK; Likewise the label on the dc/dc converter block is also black.

  • Put the lens and reflector back together. Bend back the tabs to complete the fixture.

  • The RED wire goes to the power connector on the vehicle.

  • The BROWN wire goes to the ground connector on the vehicle.

  • Tuck the wires in carefully behind the foglight lens assembly as the assembly is mounted onto the base.

  • Replace the bezel and insert the two screws finishing the project.
